Worked at Grace Care Center Since: November 8, 2005
Duties & Responsibilities:  Looks after the elders, maintains the pharmacy and dispenses medication for the elders.
Other Things Done at Grace:  Helps the Grace Girls with their homework, school activities and the elders in their hobbies and activities.
Family History:  Has three older brothers and two older sisters; his father and one older brother died in 1990 due to the ethnic conflict. 
Hobbies/Favorite Activities:  Reading books and drawing
Future Goals:  I would like to increase my proficiency on computers

Mr. Marimuthu Wijiyavickram, also known affectionately as “Wicky,” is a very important member of the Mercy Home staff. He is known for his willingness to help and well as his reliability, kind heart and excellent sense of humor. Wicky regularly goes beyond his duties at Mercy Home by providing tutoring for the Grace Home girls in his spare time. Here’s what Mr. Wijiyavickram had to say about his life at the Grace Care Center: “Helping the elders and the children affected in their lives is very important, so in this way I like the Grace Care Center very much. The Grace Care Center has taken the responsibility to look after many children from all backgrounds. The children and elders are well looked after and educated. After their studies, the children can have a better chance in society; therefore, I love Grace and the mission of VeAhavta.”

VeAhavta wishes to thank Mr. Wijiyavickram for his excellent service and leadership, and for his tenderness and devotion to the residents of Mercy Home and the children of Grace Home. Without his presence, Mercy Home could not provide the high level of care that it does for the residents.
