The Grace Care Center Needs Your Help

In early June this year, VeAhavta started a new fundraising campaign to meet the ever-growing costs of our programs at our Grace Care Center in Sri Lanka. The yearly budget for our programs is nearly $130,000. This includes all expenses for Grace Girls Home, Grace Daycare, Mercy Home, the Grace Vocational Training Center and the Grace Widows’ Empowerment Project. At present, the monthly expenses at the Grace Care Center are exceeding our monthly donations.

Our recent fundraising campaign commenced with a mailing, including a special brochure and donation form, which was sent to all VeAhavta donors.  In response to the mailing, we have so far received a total of $32,245 in donations and pledges, but many donors on our list have not returned their donation forms or made a donation on-line through our website.

We are in great need of sponsors willing to make regular monthly or annual donations to our programs. Sponsorship is inexpensive. You can sponsor an elder at Mercy Home for just $40/month, or a child at the Grace Girls Home for just $30/month. You can also sponsor our Vocational Training Center for just $20/month, or our Daycare program for only $10/month.
