Future leaders visit Grace

Honor students from the Girls Methodist College of Trincomalee, the primary school attended by the Grace Home children, attended a one-day Leadership Seminar in early August held at Mercy Home. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Trincomalee, the all-day session offered the university-bound students some thoughts on management, applying their skills and serving the community. During the day, the students served a Rotarian-sponsored tea break with the elders, and the Club’s members sponsored a meal for all Grace and Mercy Home residents. Future events with the business leaders of Trincomalee at Grace are being planned, to include a full-moon ‘Poya’ day talent show.
