Sivajini comes from a poor rural village named Nilaveli, located about 15 miles north of Trincomalee. She has an older brother and sister and one younger sister. Her father died of kidney failure in March of 2007 and her mother was no longer able to care for her. Sivajini is very sweet and has made many friends since coming to the Grace Girls Home in September of 2007. In school (Grade 8 at present) her favorite subject is Home Science. Her favorite color is blue and she likes to draw. Sivajini aspires to become a teacher. She speaks just a little English but is anxious to learn more,so please write to Sivajini and send her a photo!
